We are very sorry but the Camp has been cancelled this year, please check back for future camps in the future

FindYoga.com.au and Alison Pearl are thrilled to present the inaugural BYRON YOGA CAMP, a long weekend where yogis can explore some of the greater and lesser known joys of yoga.

Yogis

The first year's core faculty is composed of teachers from different traditions including: John Ogilvie (Byron Yoga Centre Director/Founder), Louisa Sear (Yoga Arts), Rose Baudin, Consta Georgoussis, Kathryn Riding and Tim Mitchell. These internationally renowned teachers will be leading us in Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Chakra study, Kirtan, Yoga Philosophy, Agni Hotra fire ceremony, and more.

A Typical Day at the Camp

Wake up at sunrise and head to the beach for morning meditation and pranayama. Then practice a yoga asana class suited to your level, followed by a scrumptious breakfest. Choose to learn the secrets or ayurveda or perhaps explore the chakras. Have some free time to learn surfing or have a massage. In the afternoon, you can choose to learn about the practice of kirtan or perhaps learning about yogic philosophy. We will eat a yummy dinner and join together in the evening for amazing practices of fire ceremony, kirtan and more!

The Weekend is...

Designed for those who have some some yoga experience, the unique program will allow participants to eat, cook, pose, pray, and generally ignite their passion for the 8 limbs of yoga, and related activities, in a way that reflects the North Coast/Byron Bay lifestyle.

Other activities...

Ayurvedic principles, cooking classes, yoga surfing, rock climbing, dance, bodywork, bhakti yoga, yogic philosophy, chai making competition, learning the significance of devotional chants, as well as Celebration of Life.

Accomodation Options...

The accommodation choices are: Private Double room, dorm room (up to 6 people with en suite), or camping. All food will be vegetarian.
